Roman, of all the great pieces you've written, this is my absolute number one so far. Knowing you, you'll probably write something in the future that rings the bell louder for me personally, but it will have to beat this one out - which won't be easy. This was just everything. - Jim
People like to say “it’s just things,” but they have no understanding of how tangible things anchor us to the reality of life that has been passed down to us. And the reality that we will pass something down. The words we immortalize in writing are heavier and more real when you can hold the weight of them in your hands.
You got my wheels turning with this piece. The best part was the concept reflected in the title. The saddest part was the last line. I look forward to reading more of your work.
This is gorgeous. I am writing a piece about family nostalgia right now, and the aliveness of your prose captures the beauty and sadness of such a theme perfectly. Thanks so much for sharing this.

When we find something that moves us it becomes part of us. Thank you, my friend.
It is so hard to pick favorites, among your writing. But this would be one of them.

This really pierced me through. And it’s exactly what I needed right this moment.

Again, this is just fabulous imagery, emotionally compelling. Being in my 70s myself, I'm going to send this to me son with love.
Thanks Dave. That’s means a lot.

Words that stir the soul, the essence of good writing Roman.
I echo Linda. This is definitely at the top for me.
Oof we feel this one deeply. Beautifully composed.
Reads like poetry. Good stuff.
